WHAM! - After Midnight Ride Saturday August 11-12, 2018

One of the few remaining large-scale (1000+) organized late-night fun bicycle rides in the metropolitan area right now. (sad)

Enjoy a late night ride through Hammond-Whiting, Highland, and Munster's beautiful neighborhood bike paths and city streets.

1000 plus riders participate from the metropolitan area!

Entertainment starts at 9 PM

Breakfast post ride!

Ride Rolls Out at 12 AM Midnight!

10 Mile or 30 Mile Route

Ride till sunrise!

$25 Registration Tonight 8-11-18, at the Pavilion at Wolf Lake !

Comment by Tom A.K. on August 11, 2018 at 9:30pm: The only remaining 2018 metropolitan 'LATE' night Ride event in the the early AM until sunrise has begun. The WHAM event has begun at 9pm with entertainment and ride registration for $25 till 11:30. Get on over to N.W. Indiana if you can. Reminder; Chicago no longer has their LATE Ride which would have likely been scheduled at this time also. So get out there and ride through this lovely summer night over in Hammond Ind. I'll see ya' there next year hopefully cuz' I'm (dang it!) recovering from a cycling spill. I really hope my friends, and all attending enjoy the ride! I'll just lie here and take my meds ! :'(

Comment by Tom A.K. on August 10, 2018 at 12:20pm: I will not be able to attend this year's WHAM Ride due to a cycling spill during a Wednesday early AM mileage training ride in preparation for Sunday's early AM event. I injured my leg and ended up with subsequent medical issues. Hopefully and Godwilling, I am on the road to full recovery and being able to return to cycling once again. Thanks to all who are assisting and supporting. Hope to see you all down the road soon ! . . .
