32 or 41 miles - Avg. speed of ride leader (excluding stops) will be 16-18 mph.

A co-leader will be riding 11-14 mph so there will be at least 2 groups forming as ride begins.

All riders of all paces welcome and a detailed cue sheet provided.

Meet in the Jewel parking lot just west of the Catlow Theater, 116 W. Main Street, Barrington, IL

We will leave promptly at 8:30 AM so arrive early

(drive should take an hour or so from north side of Chicago - allow 1.5 hrs to be really safe).

There's a restroom inside Jewel and a water fountain to fill up water bottles.

Ride rolls up and down through the Barrington countryside amongst rolling hills,

lakes, and beautiful scenery.

The shorter route is same until Mile 28 then heads east to the start point.

There is no planned lunch stop on route but there is a 7-Eleven around halfway point

to stop for a break.

Optionally, depending on interest, group can have brunch after the ride at

The Canteen Restaurant which is just around the corner.

Ride will be cancelled/postponed if high chance of rain.
