ROLL SOUTH: WHERE DANCE HAPPENS
a traveling dance party on- and off-bike highlighting key faces & places of dance past & present throughout the South Side

5PM: Meet at Columbia College Dance Center, 5:30pm: ROLL OUT
7PM: Ride ends at Art Bar at the Hyde Park Arts Center where students from Columbia College are taking over the building with multiple performance installations

Advantages of arriving at 5PM:
* See who else is ridin'.
* Get your stretch on.

* Get your waiver form filled out so you can chill.

THIS IS AN EVENING RIDE! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING LIGHTS!

If you think you cannot make the start of a ride, be sure to get the cell phone number of someone else who will be on the ride so that you can meet us en route. 

At the beginning, we may ask folks to volunteer with facilitating roles such as:
* JELLY - riders who keep the faster & slower riders together, especially through intersections.
* CABOOSE - riders who ride the back of the group, especially important to call out traffic traffic coming up behind.

Also, try to come prepared with the following items: 
- Helmet - Water - Snack - Cell Phone - ID (in case of emergency) - Cash (for food) - Bike Lock - Layered Clothing

If you have any of the following items (and don't mind sharing with the community) please bring:
- Patch Kit - Frame Pump - Spare Tubes
