Description

THE monthly (2nd Fridays) north side gathering of cyclists. Winds a dozen miles-ish, ending with food+drink. Well-attended. Bring friends, tunes, bells, costumes, cameras. Meet under Young Lincoln Statue at Ridge and Thorndale.  Not just for Northsiders, see it as a second big monthly mass, sometimes topping 100 riders.

My unibomber-style shack will be unattended for this.

I'll have to make sure the batch is done cooking before I depart.

North Side Critical Mass Friday - Leaves after 7pm from Young Lincoln at Clark/Ridge/Thorndale

I've got a nice 17 mile route planned that takes us on some long smooth stretches, through sculpture gardens, to Binny's in Skokie, then along the river, through Indian Boundary Park, to the Artists Wall along Pratt beach, ending at the free Artists of the Wall pre-party at Act One Pub 1330 W Morse in Rogers Park.

Northside Critical Mass (NSCM) has been pretty magical pretty much every month for more than four years. Come’on out, it'll be fun.http://massup.us/nscm/f

The route including cue points is online. Smartphoners can catchup using http://massup.us or text WHERE to u@massup.us
