The North Branch Trail Alliance (NBTA) of Greater Chicago was founded in early in 2017 based on a vision of increasing economic development along the North Branch Trail. NBTA connects bicyclists with neighborhood businesses along the trail through a series of bike rides focused on shopping, dining, and cultural experiences within 1/2 mile of the NBT. The NBTA Leadership Team recently received the Active Transportation Alliance’s (ATA) Advocate of the Year Award.  Since many EBC club rides travel on the North Branch Trail this will be an opportunity to meet these innovative community leaders and learn about their economic development efforts along the trail for communities from Albany Park to Glenview, and all points in-between. A presentation and Q&A about the work of NBTA will be given by Jac Charlier, NBTA Founder.
