Description

Award-winning journalist and author Greg Borzo will share cycling stories from his book Where to Bike Chicago: Best Biking in City and Suburbs. Born from his own avid cycling life, Borzo rode over 2,000 miles from city streets to suburban trails to bring you this guidebook. Packed with detailed maps and full color pictures of 72 paths throughout the Chicagoland area, the book outlines paths suitable for the novice to the seasoned rider.
We will explore the city’s response to the explosion in cycling traffic and discuss what cyclists want to see themselves.
The Despres Family Memorial Lecture Series presented by Friends of Blackstone Branch Library.
