CCC Weekend: 46th Annual Classic Century

Springfield Bicycle Club's Capital City Century has expanded to a whole weekend of fun! The 46th annual Classic Century on Sunday, Sept. 9 is part of CCC Weekend (Sept. 7-9). One of the oldest and most popular Century rides in Illinois, the Classic Century is a recreational ride for riders of all ages and ability levels. It is always held on the Sunday after Labor Day. 

The Classic Century features ride options of 10 to 100 miles, organized food stops, SAG service, and a post-ride party.  A special double metric (125 mile) option will be offered again in 2018.

This year's Classic Century starts and ends at the Illinois Building, inside the Main Gate (Gate 1) at the State Fairgrounds. Riders may depart between 7 and 10 am depending on their chosen distance option.

Registrants pay a single price for all CCC Weekend events. An Early Bird registration discount for online registration runs through August 31. Online, mail-in and day of event registration are available.
