Description

The 3rd annual Busse Woods Night Ride takes place on Saturday September 9th.

The Friends of Cycling in Elk Grove, Friends of the Forest Preserves, and Forest Preserve District of Cook County are planning and hosting this exciting fundraiser.

Minimum age is 12 years old. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A HELMET AND HEADLIGHT. Headlights will be available to purchase during registration. Mechanics from Village CycleSport will be on-hand for minor bike repairs.

This is NOT a race! Participants will enjoy a leisurely ride at Busse Woods after dark in waves of 20-25 cyclists. Each wave will include a volunteer leader and sweeper that can easily communicate with the event directors.
