Description

Don't let the shorter days and falling temperatures keep you out of the saddle this winter. With a little know-how and determination you can enjoy cycling all season long!

This one night workshop will give you the tips and tricks needed for you and your bike to keep riding all winter long. This workshop will cover how to dress for winter riding, equipping you and your bike for the dark, wet and cold, and how to maintain your bike from harsh Chicago winter conditions. We'll also cover bike handling through wet, snowy and icy conditions as well as the social, mental and personal benefits of biking in winter. Participants receive a 20% discount off parts and accessories at Ciclo Urbano, West Town Bikes sales and service shop.

This class is a great introduction to West Town Bikes, our workshop and other opportunities here. If you've got a bike project in mind or have questions about classes we offer, taking this class is a good choice. Bring your bike. No prior knowledge necessary.
