Description

The Village of Brookfield is pleased to announce its first ever Village Bike Ride, “Bike Brookfield” on Saturday May 21st.  This is a free event for the community.

  • At 9:00 a.m. “Bike Rodeo” to promote bike safety, coordinated by the Police Department
  • At 10:30 a.m. short Kids Ride for young children
  • At 11:30 a.m. 5-10 Kilometer Community Ride through the major business districts and recreational areas in our community.

The event will be a unique and fun way to celebrate the arrival of summer, with the Bike Rodeo being followed by the 2 bike rides. The rides are geared toward younger children as well as families and adults who are bike enthusiasts. Additionally, the Kids Ride and 5K/10K Family Ride will be relaxing, stress free rides with partial, “soft” road closures to allow bikers to have a rare opportunity to ride with very minimal automobile traffic on a Saturday morning.
