Beverly criterium picnic

Start your weekend early and come on down to Beverly for an exciting night of criterium racing.  This is the first race of the annual Superweek criterium series - fast-paced action featuring Cat 1 and 2 racers from around the world.  

Let's meet and watch the race.  Longwood near 105th Place is near the downhill corner - a great action spot.

There's a festival area with food and music at 107th & Longwood, so you can buy food (including ice cream from Rainbow Cone) if it's not convenient for you to bring any. There are also places on 103rd St. between the Metra station and Longwood with food to go.  Calabria has a variety of tasty Italian sandwiches, pasta and salads to go.

The easiest way to get there from the Loop is taking the Rock Island Metra to 107th St.  Taking the CTA red line to 95th St. and 103 bus to Longwood is also an option.
