We've got guests in town this weekend, but I'm hoping to convince them to at least drive to the pierogi fest

We make a water stop on Promontory Point, so if anyone would like to meet up there, we'll hang out there until 10:45.

18 miles one way from Buckingham Fountain...

It's going to be a cool, beautiful day, so I can't say no.  I'm in.

Out of curiosity, how many miles is it?

Will there be a stop at 57th street beach to pick up Hyde Parkers? :D

Good point.  It was the same situation last year, and for whatever reason, people keep to their left when running.  There are some side streets that might prove interesting.

Just fyi, the Big Ten 10k is using the path from soldier field to 41st or so.  They're supposed to be done at 9:30 but the path might be clogged with stragglers and people wandering about.  A route down state or michigan and then over to the path at 35th might be better.
