*** STAY TUNED FOR NEW DATE ***

Please join Alderman Pawar at our first 47th Ward Family Bike Ride on Saturday, April 28th at 10am! This leisurely 5-8 mile ride will teach children and families how to safely ride in the city. It will be organized by parents and residents of the community. Meet at the Welles Park Gazebo at 10am, leave at 10:30am. Helmets required. All ages invited!

If it rains hard we will head over to a local restaurant for brunch. Alderman Pawar wants to meet you all! See you at 10-10:30!

This is a joint ride with the Chicago Cycling Club, 47th Ward Alderman Pawar's Office, Kidical Mass and The Chainlink.

Hey Everyone - UPDATE! - the Alderman's office has cancelled tomorrow's official ride due to inclement weather, so Alderman Pawar and his staff will not be there, nor the Bicycle Ambassadors. But, those of us on the organizing committee will still be at the Gazebo at 10 and will ride if folks come. We're looking forward to it!

The official 47th Ward Family Ride will be postponed to a later date - we'll let you know.

Also, Kidical Mass is starting to hold monthly rides at 10am departing from the Gazebo on the third Saturday of every month, so you are all always welcome to join that one!

It will be chilly and 70% chance of rain tomorrow, so please dress appropriately!
