Schwinn Ladies 1959 Fair Lady...she was that! And, now needs a new owner

The bike people in the know think that my Fair Lady (black/chrome) is a 1959. I understand that Schwinn also had that collection 1961-1964 but that it was NOT available in black/chrome like mine. (such a 50s color combo).

I hate to say goodbye to her after all these years. So, am looking for a good home and someone with integrity to help determine her value...and maybe even buy her.

I have attached a pix of me many years ago. It was my birthday bike. Also, the original price tag from the Schwinn bike shop in Oak Park.

I have kept it in good condition but have not taken her for a drive lately. All parts are the original, as is the color, except for the straw basket and horn I added a few years ago at the Schwinn Shop that used to be on Central Street. The guy there oiled her up and did what was needed mechanically.

Anybody interested in buying my Fair Lady? Funny, I think that was a movie with Audrey Hepburn by that same name in the early 60s.

Thanks,

Deb

Alas, your pix seem not to have made it through... All a quick Google search produced were Fair Lady models which looked like Sting Rays with step through frames and were produced no earlier than 1964. Nothing from the 50s...

So my photos did not upload? Please advise. Google 1960 Schwinn Fair Lady. It was a friend who has the catalog and told me black was done in 1959. I'm no expert. Just curious.
