The Chainlink

Just a reminder that  there are multiple Rides of Silence this evening. The International Ride of Silence www.rideofsilence.org has rides leaving at 7pm local time all over the world. Elizabeth Adamczyk is leading the Chicago group. I am leading the Evanston ride. There are also rides in Arlington Heights, Bartlett and Elk Grove Village, Downers Grove, Lombard, Joliet and Libertyville to name a few. Check with local organizers to make sure they are starting at 7 or at some other time.

http://rideonbobby.com/words/rideOfSilence The words of Bobby Cann

"There are many great group rides in Chicago and many great reasons to ride in them all. For me, group rides help strengthen my bond with our strong, supportive cycling community - a bond that sticks with me when I'm alone on the road.

The Ride of Silence is clearly special in its purpose and execution, and it makes the ties that bond us cyclists all the more stark.

So, whether you're riding in memory of someone lost, or want to strengthen your bond with the community, this IS a great ride!"

Ride on Bobby ! R.I.P.
Thank you to David Barish & Elizabeth Adamczyk and all RoS ride organizers for their efforts.
