It's at K9 University on Lake Street.  That's the Lake Street bike lane (eastbound).  It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that you have to squeeze between two vans and potentially double your chances of being doored.

send this picture to K9U.  they are rather nice folks over there.  a quick email may end this issue.

Yeah, they are nice over there.  I already sent them a polite email.  It's one particular driver.  I tried to talk to him one morning and he ignored me.  I'm sure they will sort it out.

Would love to hear what DUG and/or h' think about this picture.

Do you know if the van parks there, or is it just standing?

Just start putting mustard behind his door handle, with a note telling him to stop parking in the bike lane.  I'm sure he'll get the message.

My favorite part about this picture is the WIDE OPEN LEGAL PARKING SPOTS that the drivers had to actually go around in order to park as they have.

Love it!

What a bunch of jerks, putting bollards right in your way.

I think it sucks and support any effort to get it to not be parked there.

Why?

I heard back from the owner.  She said she'd talk to that particular driver.  Otherwise, I'm just going to put a ramp there.

Not much different from this.  I see this every day.  When I posted about it, I got flamed that "Its all for commerce and the good of the city".  Blah blah blah..

Expect the, "are you afraid to just merge into traffic" From Dug and the gang.
