The Chainlink

Hey all,

I'm heading out on a long tour (Chicago to LA via Denver) and using some Adventure Cycling trails to get there. Problem is, I don't have a clear route from here south to the TransAmerica route. I figure I might as well pass through Springfield and St. Louis on my way down. Does anyone have any advice or a route they've ridden?

Thanks!

From Downtown Chicago to St.Louis, thru Springfield.

Did the part from Springfield to Joliet. Nice quiet backroads, some even signed. Rather boring landscape between towns.

Go to Galina's Pizza at Monroe/5th if you stop in Springfield! :)

Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for!

Go to Avanti's and get a Gondola when you pass through Normal!
