The Chainlink

It's been a week since registration for Divvy opened. I seem to recall the confirmation screen claiming the keyfobs would be sent out in a week or so. Anyone receive theirs in the mail yet?

Nope.

Impatiently waiting.  Planning on take a look at the hardware tomorrow at the Daley Plaza farmers market.

Haven't, but I spotted a guy on a divvy bike riding southbound at Milwaukee/Hubbard yesterday - first time I've spotted a divvy bike in person! Wish I would've caught the light so I could've chatted with him for bit!

Not yet.

I'm expecting it will be almost exactly the same as CaBi, which was great.  I was living in DC when they implemented that system, and I loved it.  Now if someone could make a safe helmet that will fold somehow to go in a bag . . .

Get a bigger bag. :-) Mine fits fairly well into my Mission Workshop Vandal.

Love my Mission Workshop.  I've got The Shed messenger bag. No fob here yet either.

I assumed it would be a few weeks.

The confirmation screen stated 5-9 days.

Transformer helmet. I'm a fan.

Maybe Divvy is the prefect opportunity to bring the Swedish airbag helmet to popularity :) http://www.hovding.com/en/

There are supposedly going to be 75 stations opened by this Friday, and it would be nice to be able to use them. I've emailed customer support, asking about the key fobs:

When I signed up the day registration opened, I was informed that I would receive my key fob within 5-9 days. It is currently 13 days later, and I still have not received it. If I remember correctly, the program is slated to open this Friday. Will I be receiving my key fob this week?

I will report back when I hear from them.

Not trying to hijack (maybe we should start a separate thread) but this is a very cool concept product. I just wish it was cheaper, much cheaper.  Thanks, Julia!
