Do you live near the trail? Have ideas about what improvements you might like to see? We welcome your ideas and suggestions.
We're having our monthly meeting tonight.  Click here for meeting info.

Our annual election is coming up again - this Wednesday 11/16.  Meeting info is here.  I hope that you can join us.

Our monthly meeting happens Wednesday night 3/21 - details here.  We're planning a series of spring clean-up days, a May ride and more.

The park district is sweeping regularly for glass.  Trail conditions have been good lately.

If you live and ride on the south side and would like to get involved, please join us.

Please join us at tonight's meeting.

We have 2 events coming up in the next 2 weeks: clean-up days on the trail from 111th to 115th Streets.  These will happen on the afternoons of Sat. 3/31 and Sat. 4/7.  Details for each workday are included in the event listings, along with transit info.

We will be clearing trees and brush to reduce the amount of trail blockage from summer growth.  Work gloves, long pants, enclosed shoes or boots, and long sleeves are recommended.  Work gloves will be available in case you do not have any.  There is no bike rack at this location, but bikes can be locked together near the work area.

Please join us if you'd like to help improve conditions on the trail for this year's riding season.

We're having another clean-up day tomorrow in honor of Earth Day.  The location is not far from the 111th St. Metra station (Rock Island) or 95th St. red line station.  If you've thought about visiting us for a workday, please join us tomorrow.  Looks like we'll have pleasant weather for working.

Come join us today 2-4 p.m.!

...to come to our ride next Saturday 5/12.  It's a joint effort with Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago.

Click here for details.  We'll have 3 different distances: a short option (go just a few miles - pick your own distance), 18 mile ride and 45-50 mile fast ride.  I hope to see you there.

I understand.  Too many events, not enough time.  I hope you have fun on Ride the Rock.

Thanks for sharing the info with your brother and sister.

Would love to come but have already signed up a month or so ago for Ride The Rock which we participate in annually. However I did notify my brother and sister and their offspring about your event. Hopefully some of them will be brave enough to venture out. My brother says he lives a few blocks from the ride so I hope he comes.

Have a great time!

Our trail ride is happening tomorrow - 9 a.m. start.  It's a joint effort with Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago.

Unfortunately, due to the risks of this morning's unstable weather conditions and thunderstorms, we've decided to cancel today's ride.  Stay tuned for future events.
