SCVA Junior Mechanics

Are you trying to squeeze a few more fun activities out of the last days of Summer? Have you checked out the bike track in South Chicago yet this year?

SCVA's Junior Mechanics program, for 13-18 year olds, is lead by one of our Directors Mike assisted by Brandon, trained through Blackstone Bicycle Works. 
It’s completely free to the public and will cover basic mechanics skills, starting from flat fixing and basic bike safety. 
No one wants to be stranded when out and about on a bike, but knowing what to do in those situations builds both confidence and skills!

- Runs Aug. 11 to Sept. 20
- Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm, Sundays 12-3pm
- Bring any type bike or come without one and learn on one of ours
- Free

There is no need to “sign up” for this program so show up without worry of being on a list.
