Saturday, July 18, noon to 5pm

Bromptons, trains and boats!

We'll meet at the corner of Madison and Clinton at noon (Ogivly Station). We'll ride west to share lunch at The Greek Islands, then ride NW, take a section of the 606 on our way to The Map Room for a beer/coffee or two (cash only!). Then, we'll ride south to Chinatown (making a quick stop at Ping Tom Park) and finally catch the water taxi back Ogilvy/Union.

This figures to be a great way to show how the Bromptons can work so well with virtually all other transportation modes. With luck, maybe we can get some press!

Comment by Marcusn on July 12, 2015 at 3:45pm: Slight change in the ride (thanks to Bill P for pointing out there's no food at The Map Room – cash only too). After we meet up we'll hop on over to Greek town. Then ride to The Map Room, via a section of the 606. Next stop, Chinatown, and a final float back our approximate starting location.

Comment by Marcusn on July 11, 2015 at 6:21pm: Where are all the fine Bromptons? Hopefully we can get a few add-ons this week, but I know summer gets busy for all of us.

Also note: I'm leaning toward riding from the Map Room straight to Ping Tom Park (rather than taking the 'L'). I know at least 2 of us will be taking our Bromptons on the train prior to the ride, so we'll have the train portion covered.
