Description

This is going to be a potluck style gathering. Bring something to share....whether it's an activity, food item or both.

We'll have fun off of the bikes and just shoot the breeze and enjoy the summer. The rain date for this will be July 25th.

Get here via bike, bus or however else you are able to travel. Invite your non-biker friends.

We are going to shoot to meet here: http://bit.ly/bocDnp

Coordinates are 41.964010, -87.634040 if you have your GPS with you! If you don't, just follow the beach out-almost to where it ends, and we'll be around there.

TABLES are still needed! We can all be eating off the ground, but it might be nice to have some tables to set up and serve the food.

Also, there are barbeque stands near where we are setting up, so you can bring something to grill!

See you all tomorrow! Bring whatever tarps you have, I'm sure they will come in handy! All of the food items sound delicious!

I have a new very large blue tarp I can bring. We can set it up and it's probably large enough so that everyone can get under it if it rains.

"Tourists island-hopped around Tahiti, the French Polynesian island of Moorea and will head to the Anaa atoll, where they will wake up early to view the eclipse expected to last three minutes. The price? $4,995 a person, not including airfare." for the solar eclipse viewing... i guess i'll just go to the picnic instead.

I plan on bringing some brats, beers, and a pie (it isn't a picnic without pie)

This is going to be a challenge after the L.A.T.E. ride, but I have to find a way.

It sounds like there are going to be several dogs, I just ask that people keep them under control and on their leashes at all times while around the picnic. The dog beach is a different matter and is some ways away from where we are setting up.

We're probably going to be sitting on the ground for the most part, so it will be nice to not have the dogs running over picnickers or getting into or knocking over the food.

I know that this probably already understood, I just wanted to reiterate it.

Just remember that not all people like all dogs
