The majority of the route is on quiet country roads through Wisconsin farm country. The controls, located in Soldiers Grove, Viroqua, La Farge and Rock Bridge provide opportunities to stop and recharge with the Viroqua control being at a food co-op that has a nice deli for a lunch break if you choose. The route has a fair amount of climbing but the majority of the climbs are in the 5-7% range with a few 11-12% climbs to make sure you get your moneys worth!

Details: We’ll leave from the rear parking lot of the Ramada Inn at 1450 Veterans Drive at 08:00 sharp. Lights are not required for this brevet but riders should arrive no later than 07:30 for registration and check in.  You can advance register using the link on Driftless Randonneurs webpage. 

Driftless Randonneurs is based out of beautiful Western Wisconsin, where some of the best riding in the country is based.  SW Wisconsin has plenty of hills and is characterized by many hills and valleys over low traffic roads. The Regional Brevet Administrator (RBA) for this region is Greg Smith.  

The Driftless Randonneurs ride schedule for 2019 features some old favorites and some new routes and formats with the emphasis on getting qualified and prepared for Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP). All brevets start in the back parking lot of the White House Ramada Inn, 1450 Veterans Drive, Richland Center.
