Yeah, I rode today. Twenty-one miles along the lake in hot weather. I learned a lot about hydration, and the consequences of the lack thereof.
I rode to work Monday, Tuesday, and today. My job just moved to Michigan Ave. from River North, and the most direct way to and from work is the Lakefront Trail. Anyhoo, this is my third week doing this commute...
Monday was hard. No idea why. Nothing I never did before. Took me about 50 minutes to get to work, over an hour to get back home. Tuesday was even worse.
Today I put more air in the tires...still inflated within the recommended PSI range but could have used more so I did. This morning's ride to work: incredibly easy, for whatever reason. Actually had my gear in 7 for a few miles, something I rarely do. Made it in record time (so far): 37 minutes. Felt really good.
