The Chainlink

This has been a great bike built in the "Fargo" fashion. It has low trail and handles so well. I am still clearing out some garage inventory and unfortunately this is a casualty.

Included in this rolling chassis "module" bundle packagemajig is the following:

Surly Ogre 18" frameset
Cane Creek 40 headset
Avid BB7 Road brakes
New Deore 42/32/22 crankset with new Hollowtech II BB
Ritchey 35 degree rise/90mm stem
42cm Salsa Woodchippers (They are wide! I ride a 44cm road bar and these are more than enough. I can't imagine what the 46cm are like.)
WTB Laserdisc rims laced to QR XT Hubs
Schwalbe Big Apple 29x2.35 Tires

There are a few scratches here and there from use and some rub on the head tube from cables but no dents, dings, rust, or any heavy stuff. It is in great shape. Just add a shifter kit and you are ready to roll. Or just a SS spacer kit and some drop levers and you have a super fun single speed.

Asking $700

You don't by chance still have the Jones H Bars these often come with do ya? Or did you build it frame up?

No I built it from the ground up.  I have an older Titec/Jones H Bar but that is not getting parted with.  They are hard to come by!

Ill throw in a Brooks B17 that is a nice semi matching dark green with copper rivets.

Last year I built a bike very similar to this using a Karate Monkey frame (essentially the same geometry but the Ogre has more mounts for accessories). The frame alone cost me 600 new. This is a great bike style and a good price for these parts.  I love the Big Apple tires and I will soon post a review of those and of another tire that I thought might be "better" (but isn't). If my KM was to disappear overnight I would snatch this up!

Yeah thanks Irvin. It's a great bike. Short chain stays, low trail.

still available?

Sorry, long sold.
