10 Stories of Senior Cyclists Who Will Inspire You To Never Stop Biking

Inspiring and interesting stories of 'mature' riders and their quest to continue their 'love of cycling'.

You're never too old to learn to ride, and you're never too old to stop. Never stop riding until you can't ride anymore. Get out there cycling, and NEVER QUIT !

I've done a CL search for senior/mature groups here and really didn't find any, or they've been deactivated and or removed. It seems to me that the senior voice is not properly represented here. I know that there are enough of 'mature' active members here on the Chainlink right now. I would like to know if there is any interest for a 'mature/senior' (50-99+) group on the CL right now? CL Cycling Seniors! Thanks.

I haven't removed anything and Julie wouldn't have removed it either so if it's on the site, the threads should still be there. I'm glad you are posting this - more seniors are riding bikes because it's a great way to get around and get some exercise at the same time.

Now that is one seriously scary sentence.

Removal and deactivation aside ... I'm not sure what the topics would be, but I'd participate if a group was formed.

Chicago cycling club in warmer weather has club senior ride(over 55) to food on Thursday about 9:30am. I have trying to go, but work prevents it.

I believe the Evanston Bicycle club, had a Silver Spokes group for seniors, many years ago.
