(Is anyone going?  Is anyone still following this story?)

Is anyone going?  Is anyone still following this story?

Not going, but definitely still interested.

I wonder if we should have a single (sticky?) thread to track all court proceedings involving cycling crashes. That would perhaps give similar/better exposure to all active proceedings. I'm thinking, in particular, of the Hector Avalos case:

http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/hector-avalos-courtroom-up...

I don't remember where I heard of this case, but it certainly seems to have fallen off the radar screen. I haven't been following it like the Bobby Cann case. The last update on that thread was about a year ago.

Here's the latest news on the Avalos case:

Thanks, John.

Information on the Hector Avalos case was intermixed in a number of earlier threads. The Defendant, Robert Vais, pled guilty to Aggravated DUI in the death of Hector Avalos. The sentencing for Robert Vais will be on Tuesday, November 17, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cook County Courthouse, 26th and California, in Courtroom 702.

Thanks, Skip. -MSK

Does anyone know when the next hearing is in the Bobby Cann case?
