Celebration of Graduation: Rolling into the Future
Slow Roll Chicago, WTTW Channel 11, and Chicago Park District as part of the American Graduate initiative are hosting a celebration for Chicago's Graduates!
This community event is intended to promote the achievements of Chicago’s youth. This special day of celebration will include a community bicycle ride, or Slow Roll, of approximately an 8-10 mile loop touring neighborhoods, community organizations and educational institutions on the South Side of Chicago. Following the ride, will be an exciting event including live performances to celebrate our young graduates and inspire them to “roll into their future” with solid goals and plans to realize their full potential.

Tomorrow we will be raffling off 2 bikes and 2 tablets!!! And, we have lots of loaner bikes. Get there early, first come first serve. Registration begins at 10am and we ride at 12pm. Celebration in the park begins at 2pm. Please share and let's ride tomorrow, Sat, June 13...

We ride tomorrow to celebrate our children! Please share and let's ride. This event will feature The Jesse White Tumblers and the Horace Mann Marching Mustangs. Also, we will have with us several performing artists from Donda’s House, including Mic Taylor, Lamar Creation, Matt Muse, and more. Our MC tomorrow is Chicago's own, Young Wayne.
