We recently featured a bike built to withstand a zombie apocalypse. What bike would you choose? What gear would you choose? 

That lake front path can be rough to navigate after a bad storm. Would your Zombie bike be the right bike in rough conditions?

The only bike needed for the Zombie Apocalypse is an old Raleigh Sport/Superbe 3 speed.

All I'd need to add to this is a scabbard for my Ruger M77.

Here is my take on that kind of bike. Works great on the prairie path trails too. 700C x 2.1" tires, 80mm of fork travel, and road components (mostly):

Soma Doublecross. Durable steel, good on trails, and fast on the road (for outrunning the swarms of undead)!

Yes, it's part motorcycle...but dang, they really did make some nice looking bikes 108 years ago. I'd ride this Harley after a few new parts.
