Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Serge, Ha! No, but now, with so much time on Chainlink and this in my daily newsfeed, I am REALLY looking forward to it! :-)
J.W., My sentiments exactly. I second your *SQUEEEEEE* :-)
oh, that's farther
Bob, they're talking about Pleasant House in Three Oaks, Michigan.
the pleasant house right next to maria's?
I might be interested in that trip Serge. Will depend on funds and vacation days.
I will restate that we should stop at Journeyman! It's conveniently located right next to Pleasant House :)
I did a ride last year including Bull Dog, Three Flloyds, Shoreline, and Greenbush. It was a looooong day, we got there 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, but we were lucky enough to have our wives pick us up in Sawyer for a lift back to Chicago.
Bring on the train!
Just filled out the survey.
Yes would love to ride out to Greenbush and of course make a stop at Journeyman Distillery on the way up or down.
That would really help with getting back from a ride to Greenbush

Not sure how much this survey helps but its about interest in bikes on the South Shore Line.
