Ending the 606 at the highway/river/railroad was silly anyway.  It needs to cross all of that into Little Schaumburg.

Don't forget, to get to the river, you still have to cross over Ashland, (do-able), under the Kennedy, (do-able), then, over the Metra tracks, (harder to be do-able). All can be done, with enough shekels.

"Little Schaumburg" that is totally hilarious and spot on! It is profoundly sad that big box, car centric development so easily finds it way into any urban opening it can - like weeds taking over a neglected parcel of land. We all know from experience that such development is a disaster for cycling and walking. It would be great if all such development in the future, if we had to have it, would a requirement for Bloomingdale Trail like accommodations for bikes.

It'll be interesting to see if the new developments around Goose Island are better thought out.  That area's hardly great for driving, either.
