Either downtown or somewhere along the Milwaukee corridor up as far as Logan Square. Looking to make a quick web short about bike theft prevention. Feel free to send me an email at jason@activetrans.org. Thanks.

The last one I saw was @ Damen & School. I noticed it when I was going into the store. Not really in the place that you were looking though.

Careful, I suspect this "Jason Jenkins" character might be looking to steal bikes...

LOL

Last time I warned someone that was about to lock up to one it was on Milwaukee by the Walgreens at Wood but that was a while ago.

Madison and Clinton, just north of the Divvy station in front of Potbelly

For every report we've received at CSBR of a signpost being removed that didn't appear to have a bolt previously, we've received at least one other of a bolt being removed, and there have been plenty where the sign was removed. And plenty where the pole was worked free from its footing in the ground.  Hopefully this video will instruct people not to lock to signpoles at all.

Milwaukee near Haddon Planned parenthood/Liquor store.

Just look down, if it has a bolt and a nut you should be ok. I wouldn't do it over night. Look at the bolt as well they sometimes hammer it and it's bent slightly making it un-removable. If there's no bolt they wedge a washer or 2 to jam the pole in place.

I do a quick "lift up" to see if it's attached, in any event lock your bike to itself wheel to frame front and back with one going around the pole so if they do take it they have to carry it.

Bikes WILL be stolen! The goal is to make yours the hardest to steal.

Except for the times that your bike gets stolen.

On the way home, I looked when I had a chance. There's one in front of debonair, and three in front of Irazu.

Should be ok. Nothing is 100% Like I said I wouldn't leave it out over night.
