So far nobody has taken me up on my invitation to get together on Wednesday night.  Is anybody going to join me for an evening of pre-RAGBRAI amusement?  I have scrapbooks full of photos from 14 Ragbrais, several books written on the subject and we can make walking tacos if you like.  I don't have enough room or slant in my back yard for a beer slide, but I do have a large plastic sheet and two very standup corn plants.  But please don't piss in my cornfield.

Team Brewhaha is a great group! I'm on Team Bad Monkey and many of us look forward to the annual release of the Bar Guide with great anticipation.  Y'all do an awesome job with that. Is Papa T riding this year?

there is much to do in Rock Valley - the expo is fantastic!  No worries about finding stuff to do.  I just wish Bicycle Illinois was getting us there in time to see the expo.

I am making my place available for a pot luck this Wednesday night at 7PM just as I did many years ago before RAGBRAI.  That's how I found the person who drove me there for about 5 years straight.  It's a great way to network - newbies comparing notes with old timers like myself.  And Suzy is on her 5th RAGBRAI.

Please respond if you would like to bring your own (cheap) beer to 1113 W Webster - say 6:30PM on Wed July 16.
