Is this a helpful tool?

This woman created a board of Cycle gear in Chicago. I've been to some, but have my preferences of where to shop. The site was designed for the discovery and recommendations (full disclosure, I work here) of local spots and I see this lady decided to create something a bit different than it's initial intended use.

Perhaps it's a helpful tool? I'd love to get your feedback. Would you use this for recommendations or for sharing?

Well, it was originally intended to be user-generated collections of their favorite places.

Like Pinterest meets Yelp. So it's not a site to give negative reviews. Just recommendations.

Some people use it to vacation plan. And I saw a few cyclists posting some recommended shops in Chicago. And that's why I wanted to check out your opinions. Just trying to figure out who would use this most. So thanks for your feedback :)
