"With all the stolen bike posts lately (and no one thinking "I wonder if there's something under Useful Links for this."), I think it's well past time to make a sticky about the Stolen Bike Registry"

I'm relieved to report that my bicycle was found. Thank you all for keeping your eyes out for stolen bicycles.

Hello everybody, my beloved Mercier Aquila Euro was stolen from me on April 9th. It's the exact same bicycle in the picture only it has a maroon-to-orange fade paint job. It has toe clips and a "Working Bikes" sticker on the seat tube. Was stolen around Kedzie and Foster

Updated, but unable to get any "story," sorry.

Also a good news story to report. My bike was located at a pawn shop on west Fullerton. I was able to retrieve it with no problems. Happy that there are actually some good-news stories on this thread!

Greetings from suburban Barrington, where I naively thought my bike was safe from theft.

From my garage, my 2008 52cm Cannondale Six/13 was stolen in the last couple days.

Blue with silver accents, similar to picture attached. Fancy Italian wheelset, blue Speedplay Candy pedals, cool silver Cannondale bottle cage.

Serial Number: SO89350. 2008

Police Report filed with Barrington Police Department: 1404-0449

If you see it, grab it!

Thanks,

Jerod

awesome! Make sure you update in  the recovery section if you posted in the database as well.

Thanks for the support but FYI the CSBR is not user-editable after a report is filed. We need to make that clearer on the site.

Perfect weekend to get out and enjoy the ride!

We should pick a bar to meet at every time DCO rolls around, like they do for snow rides.

Had a friend of a friend just mention her bike was stolen... Gave her the link to this thread...

Magda Wistuba - florescent De Bernardi 48 cm with cruiser bars, yellow grips, and shimano components. Please help her find her bike!!!!

Did this before I even logged in here but I am pretty despondent.
