Headwind. lots o cyclists going fast the other direction.
Same here. What surprised me this morning were the number of northbound riders I passed that didn't look like tested veterans - but clearly commuters, and dressed for the weather. I hope it promises more commuters from the southside in the coming months - would love to have more company on my morning rides.

You are very observant, Lisa. Yes, I was. I am finally to the point where I am not a harm to myself, can start with not too much wiggle and can hold a quasi-straight line ... all without training wheels. The past few weeks made me feel like I was five again and my brother Al was pushing me along until I finally figured out the balance thing. Whee.

weather was awful this morn so didn't ride. jk! rode and it was awesome. shorts and long sleeve. coulda short sleeved it but couldn't find said article of clothing. no wind noticed.
No jacket today. Probably will be sorry when it's pouring rain on the way home.
