67 days. Don't worry about training this year, this route doesn't really need it.  Ride on!

REGISTRATION FOR OUR RAGBRAI TRANSPORTATION SERVICE IS NOW OPEN!!!!!!!

To register, please visit http://www.bicycleillinois.com/ragbraitransportation/registration/t...

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND RIDING PARTNERS REGISTER NOW SO YOU CAN BE GUARANTEED A SPOT! The registration limit for both or our transportation services is 55 people, the capacity of a standard charter coach bus. Our seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and based on the strong level of feedback we have received we do expect to sell out!

If you have any questions or need any additional information please do not hesitate to let us know. We look forward to you traveling with us this summer!

186019 represents Kathy & Suzy Schnauzer.   I never got an email from Ragbrai.   I had to search on their website.  Don't worry.  You can do it too.

Regular registration for our RAGBRAI Transportation Service will open on May 1st after the RAGBRAI lottery results have been announced!

Our registration limit for both transportation services is 55 people, the capacity of a standard charter coach bus. Based on the strong level of feedback we have received we do expect to sell out.

Because of this, we have given “priority registration” to (and only to) everyone who had previously filled out our RAGBRAI transportation pre-event survey as a way to say thanks for sharing their information with us. The priority registration will remain open until 11:59 pm, Wednesday April 30th.

We assigned all of these people a unique priority registration code below which MUST be provided as part of the priority registration process which is also valid for anyone who will be travelling with them such as their friends, family, or riding partners. So if you know someone who filled out our pre-event survey please ask them to share their priority registration code with you NOW!

If all 55 spaces DO NOT FILL UP during priority registration, regular registration will then open up to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are filled.

If all 55 spaces DO FILL UP during priority registration, we will not open registration to the general public. Instead, we will maintain a waiting list and if enough people are on the waiting list we may charter an additional coach bus.

We will promptly let everyone know the status of registration on May 1st after the RAGBRAI lottery results are announced.

If you have any questions or need any additional information about our RAGBRAI transportation service, please do not hesitate to let us know. We look forward to you travelling with us this summer!

This will be my 15th RAGBRAI and I have always paid the fee because it's the right thing to do.  You are covered by the Register's insurance and they will transport your baggage and the SAG wagon is free for registered riders.

If we didn't have "pirates" perhaps the portapotties wouldn't have such long lines and perhaps there would still be lasagna left at the churches by the time I get there.

I have travelled to Iowa in various ways and I will use Robert Layton's service (bicycleillinois.org this year because he is a very well organized producer.   I did his ride back from Iowa a few years ago.  He discontinued it only because not enough people wanted to do it.

I have hired Out of Staters charter to haul my baggage from Start to Finish.   They are also well organized.   They put up a tent at the campsite at the finish and people gather there and buy drinks from the cooler.

There are usually only 2 baggage trucks, so it's easier to find your luggage.

He is especially helpful with transporting my Bike Friday and my Suzy Schnauzer.   But if you don't have a dog with you, riding in the bus is possible.  Dogs are not allowed on the chartered bus, but he lets me ride in the semi with the bikes or in his van.  You can find more details about the service here:
