They appear to be SKS longboards (45mm wide). But they only fit 700c and 650B tires.

WHAT KIND OF FENDERS ARE THOSE?  I WANT SOME FOR MY BICYCLE.  hopefully they come in 26x1.75

They're longboards and they won't work with 26 inch wheels, though they may make something under a different name for that size.

On another note I want it to get cold again since there were so freaking many people clogging up the trail this afternoon.

Side streets were empty and the city actually patched most of the craters on Hubbard.  Augusta could use a street-sweeper AND some patching.

I rode yesterday and despite the strong wind from the s/W it was nice to feel the heat of the sun and to unzip, no gloves or hat!

How do you carry your ski's on your bike?

More snow is fine with me, as long as it's around on the weekend when I can ski.

I rode LFT for the first time this year tonight. Tried to crank it up a bit. Holy Cow! I am out of shape.

If this exists, I'm sure there's a smaller version for skis.

Saw so many happy folks out riding this morning. Everyone is getting a ride in before winter takes another stab at us.

Nice ride.

Not looking forward to Red Line tomorrow...

My steed has enjoyed being able to stretch its legs (wheels?), but it looks like it may be back to the barn too soon. Fingers crossed that it's a light snowfall that melts quickly!

hmmmm.... maybe I'll invent some extensions, after I see if long ones for 26's exist already.

Also on that other note, I have this growing irritation against all the spring time traffic hogging my personal space.  I was spoiled all winter by empty side streets, empty LFT's, (Evanston has one too for a bit), and slower moving traffic. If I don't like it why don't I move to the country instead of complaining on the chainlink!   I'm not sure but it seems there's even more traffic now.  Maybe less people take CTA when its "nicer" out.

OH, I almost forgot... I rode today.  pretty ok ride,  I noticed some of the potholes are so deep they go down to the original bricks of ol' Chicago, probably been there hundreds of years... back when people commuted on penny farthings.

A really nice early-morning ride up to Lake Forest and back. Naturally, I was rewarded with a flat tire mid-route.   However, I also had two separate coyote sightings.   So, a flat tire to coyote ratio of 0.5.  Not bad.  I'll take what I can get.
