Be careful Lisa and all others over those bridges. You gotta take it slow and be ready to put your foot down (that helps prevent me from falling if I'm about to. Martin Hazard tip, one of many as I was first learning how to maneuver safely in ice, snow and just plain cold weather).

Yes. And I was chilly. Need a thicker outer layer, and to brink my mittens. Have I mentioned I hate wind.

I just chickened out and walked my bike across Dearborn on the sidewalk. I am too old to fall. :-)

Actually, my outer layer for this and even colder is not thick--it is just a windbreaker. I think success in staying warm comes from the combination of the under layers. I was quite toasty this morning.
