I saw some errant snowflakes after work yesterday.  So winter has finally come.

YES! 

Braved the cold (I'm a summer person...) in order to get back to commuting- first time since my accident! Take that asshat expedition driver. Take that sprained ankle! (Actually, it felt really good for the sprain, some nice stretching while pedaling and putting a little weight on tip toe at stop lights seem to be what I need!) 

Only rode my 5.3 mile commute, but I feel SO GOOD. All smiles.

First time by choice I have ridden in weather this cold, and yesterday.  It was only for commuting but hey, I don't have to sit in traffic because of the construction on the railroad crossing by my work!  Totally worth it if that's all I gain.

20 Miles this morning.  Wore my mittens, which I didn't need.  Finally got wool sock liners.  But feet got cold at mile 15.  Shoe covers are on the way.

Shoe covers are the way to go for feet.  It feels warmer out today though I didn't bike since the car needed to be dropped off for a recall inspection.
