We start the morning with complimentary coffee, tea and fresh-baked scones, and a hearty round of "God Save the Queen." Luncheon is in Cambridge at the cafe-bike shop, CamRock Cafe & Sport, recently featured in The Wall Street Journal. Camrock offers great coffee and food and more than 100 craft beers.

Lake Mills, Wis. is off I-94 (exit 259), 30 minutes east of Madison, 50 minutes west of Milwaukee, and a couple of hours NW of Chicago.

So, if you've got the Sunday free, please pull that trusty British steed out of the shed for a wonderful day along the path.

My videos, of the line-up, some rough stuff or emerging from the tunnel have been added to the Lake Mills 2013 set on flickr, or use the direct links here!

Alan & Garth & Erin --- A ride is only as good as the folk attending, and I am fortunate indeed to have such enthusiastic mates who contribute so much. Alan, thank you for the maps & cue sheets, which were invaluable, as well as helping to scout out a nice little addition to the route. And, of course, for your fine photos and videos. Garth & Erin, thank you for your cheery fervor for Tweed Runs, and for the delightful breakfast spread (somehow, in the mayhem of the morning I missed the chorizo --- rats!). And thanks, too, to our other fine Chicagoland riders who also made for a spirited and fun-filled time --- Barbara, Joanne, Elizabeth and Marcus. Bicycle people are great people, and the "vintage crowd" especially so. My hat is off to you all. And, Garth, I shall wear the BBC (British Bicycles Chicago) shirt with great pride. Thanks one and all and may the gods of the wheel be with you!

The Metra North line reaches Kenosha, WI, other lines can get you to Harvard, IL, or Antioch, IL. All leave quite a ride to get to Lake Mills, WI

I'm not familiar with other public transportation options in SE Wisconsin
