Ive been meaning to post something similar.

Im also happy to host since we have all the channels. Whats the best day and time?

Try The Maproom!

Also, there's The Globe, Irving and Lincoln.

On a somewhat related note, is anyone watching on NBC online?  I don't have cable and can't live without Paul and Phil, but I'm hesitant to pay the $30 if I can only watch it live (would like to watch the full stage at night).

Kat - I am watching it via NBC sports online. You can watch full stage replays.

Disregard, I see that Gopher got you. It's HD and it's great!

NBC Sports is airing replays of all the stages in the evening, but it varies depending on the day.  For example on Sunday, the replay is at 3pm, while on Saturday the replay is at 7pm.

Stage 8 should be an excellent stage to watch.  It begins at 10:30am.  I do morning ride with the team that morning, but would love to stop by to watch Stage 8 at the Globe if people are watching.

Caught the replay last night in the Huettenbar. I forgot how utterly boring bicycling is to watch.
Can't believe I spent my childhood years watching the Tour religiously.
Channel 159 on dish. Can host if anyone else is in the valpo area.

NBC Sports channel (174 on Comcast) has been broadcasting live early then edited coverage of the legs later in the day or primetime.

Boring?

The key is being able to fast forward through commercials and rewind/replay pivotal moments. I've aways thought of it as half sports/half French travel show - I really enjoy the scenery/points of interest.

Of questionable legality, don't download anything, usually low res

I don't get the sports channels that show the Tour de France live.  On Youtube, I watch the highlights of the day.  It's not HD, but whomever is doing the editing does a better job than the actual TDF website.  TDF Stage 7 Highlights.

The youtube channel is SBS Tour de France 2013
