The Chainlink

I see a number of posters have a distance ("speedracer 7.5 mi") tagged to the end of their names. What does it signify?

Their commute?

How far they rode today?

Distance to the closest decent bar?

Thanks!

Check out this older thread:

It's the one-way distance for "utility" rides, mostly commuting.

Welcome aboard Andy. The numbers indicate all three provided that a person works at the closest decent bar and has not ridden home yet. That is, they indicate commuting distance. There was a thread about it somewhere, but searching is pretty broken here so we often find ourselves re-hashing and re-discussing. But don't dismay, the software that powers the site is being replaced by something better (we assume).

Thanks for the welcome and info!

yes :))  That's part of the plan.  Watch for an update next week.

Would Wrong Way Wooten have a negative number?

I did it because there are other Juans, and it seemed like a good idea at the time.
