The Chainlink

I picked this frame up 3 yrs ago with the intent of making it a single speed commuter for a friend. She purchased a new bike and abandoned this project. Having a lot of time on my hands I decided to just build it up. It has brand new Shimano s500 wheels, Sram 8 Speed cassette, chain, cables, Vittoria tires, tubes, pedals, and fresh bar tape. I rebuilt the headset and BB as well as polished the aluminum parts. Looks pretty good. The paint and decals are a little rough but there is no rust. It measures 48cm CTC seat tube and the top tube is 52cm and the handlebars are 38cm wide. Standover height is 75cm or 29.5 inches.

The downtube shifters are friction. The issue I have is price. This was an entry level bike when new but I have just put in about $275 in parts and a lot of labor. $300 is what I am asking, open to reasonable negotiation.

That's a good deal at $300 with that many new parts.

That's a good looking bike.

Yes - very pretty!

I would be interested but its too small for me... I need to break my habit of getting bikes that are too small.
