Bike shops with morning hours?

Are there any bike shops that open at 8 or 9 during the week? My bike seems to be breaking down on a more or less weekly basis at this point and the early morning would be the least disruptive time for me to take it in, but nobody seems to open until 11, or occasionally 10.

Does the Millennium Bike Parking have a mechanic on staff that early? Their shop opens early, or at least used to.

A friend recently mentioned stopping there around 8 for an emergency repair and being pleased with the results.

You can leave your bike down in front of the shop there with a ticket (he leaves out the work tickets, a clipboard, and a pen) describing what you need done to your bike. It'll be ready by the end of the day.

The Bike Station mechanic hours are 10-6.

Yep. I've been there at 8am on the dot before. I once picked up my repaired bike right when they opened and rode it to work.

If your bike is breaking down weekly it might be time for you to get a new bike.

And the owners and mechanics don't show up until 11. The barista won't be able to help you with your bike.
