Hey Lookers,

Aaron will be scheduling another blitz soon. I'm hoping we can tag on an offical meeting for flyer review and revision (we'll need to print another batch, soon) and discussion of any new or returning ideas worth prioritizing. So start thinking of ideas and revisions:)

Hope all are well!

Katie

Sorry for the gross delay in reply. I hope last night was a resounding success! I plan on being there Wednesday, so I am guessing Aaron is, too. Let me know if we can help in anyway then.

I've been thinking about the dual-flyering approach. Since the majority of our flyering involves placing flyers on cars and bikes, I am worried an additional flyer may dilute the possibility of readership of either. For the blitz flyering, perhaps we can include a link to ROS for more info? Then, additionally, at sit down events where we have a table and a greater liklihood of conversation with people, we plan on using both flyers. Would that work instead? What do the others think?

I'd like for this Tribute event on Thursday (May 9, 6-9pm) to be a way for all bike advocacy in Chicago to come out and raise awareness. Please come and talk up LOOK and bring fliers. AND come support ROS and have Ghost Bike Pale Ale from the guy's at Spiteful Brewing.

Can this group also help print and distribute fliers for ROS???

27th 11-1 in Andersonville (yay! lunch @ Svea!) seems fine to me.

April 27th would be great for me for the A-ville one. I'd say 11-1, so we can hit the brunch crowd, the lunch crowd, the going-home-from-gym/yoga crowd, and the shopping crowds all at once. Does that time period work for others?

Jeff - YAY! That is AWESOME news on the job!

Pam - Love the idea of multiple blitzes in a month. Does April 27th work for the Andersonville one?  Any specific times?

Elizabeth - Sorry I missed the Ride of Silence meeting. Hope all is well with planning.

Well I may not be as available fer a while as I'm getting back into the work-a-day world. I start a new job on the 1th but should be able to hit weekend affairs and possible Metra/transit station handouts.

KatieP, if ya'll can send cards I'll hit the Metra stops in my hood. I sent ya a friend request so we can direct post the details.

In my comment on March 22, under my list of location suggestions, I wrote:

"Perhaps we could hit one of these every other Saturday or even every Saturday? Between all of us and outside folks, we might be able to get enough people to have a blitz every Saturday. Then we could also hit the schools during the week."
