I am looking at Velo Orange fenders and have a question for folks that have recently bought a set.

Did they have orange VO branding on them like the ones below? If so, can that branding be removed (like a sticker) or is permanent?

Thanks

The ones we have in stock at Rapid have a different logo n them but it is a sticker that could be peeled off.

You have them in stock? I have to stop by one of these days to check them out. Thanks for the tip.

Yep, smooth and hammered finish.

They even smell classy.

Strong praise.

I ordered the exact fenders pictured from Velo-Orange and the logo is a peel off sticker.

That is good to know.

How much work was it to install them? I found detailed instructions online and it looks a little more work than planetbike/SKS fenders?

I think bike shops usually charge an hour's worth of labor to install VO/Honjo fenders...and that's a good deal IMO.

It's non-trivial to install them, but they are very nice.

I probably spent at least a solid hour installing mine. They're a little trickier to maneuver into place, and the way the stays attach to the fender makes me angry. In addition to your wire cutter and hex keys, a six pack of beer is also a necessary tool.

They are harder than a normal set of fenders but not a huge deal if you have done them before; the first set I did took a long time but after that they got easier.
