I was wondering what happened to you!  More helmet light?

Helmet light in some, not in others, Lisa. I am always amazed at cloudy nights and the amount of city lights reflected back. Gorgeous.

I was so very glad to have my bike to ride home tonight!  After a rather difficult afternoon at work, getting out into a little cool weather, even a couple of drips in my face, worked out the stress in the short 4 miles home.  My husband was glad, too, since I had no frustration left to take out on him!

Rode to & from work (again).

Woke up a bit late. Glad to be on a bike. Made it to work (just under 8 miles) in 24 mins. with 10 mins left to spare. If I had taken the bus to El to downtown (1 hr to hour and a half), I would have really been late !

Plus, I get to work refreshed and ready for new ideas and such. (Bonus !)

Am going to run my hybrid knobbies through the snow until I feel I need to swith to the Infantry Blue knobbies that I bought at Irv's. I hoping for the best.

To Everyone: Good Luck and be safe on Thursday, during the "snow storm" that we're supposed to get. I will be the guy with the Baby Blue balaclava with little monkeys on it.

See ya out there !!!  :)

After two days recently, Lisa, I was a crabby, grumpy, surly, cranky, cantankerous and ornery curmudgeon. I got my bike back and was a whimsical kid again. ‘Tis funny how that happens.

I was beat by the end of the day.  The ride home on the quiet lakefront bike path was nice, even with the wet.

Was a really nice ride on lake path from Montrose to Loop with great tailwind.

Ride home tonight will probably be another story . . .

Winds are not supposed to pick up until after 8:00 tonight.  Tomorrow morning a little bit more.   Tomorrow afternoon--yuck!

Very pleasant this morning. Depending on how late I stay, there may be some precipitation on the way home.

Had a really nice, calm ride this morning to work. Still learning out how to keep warm - I've been able to keep my core warm fine, but my ears were a problem today, so I think I'm going to pick up a pair of those (what do you call them?) wrap around ear things.
