Would be a nice way to help drive traffic to chainlink to post the ad here and link to it from there.

Also, that way chainlink doesn't end up with a thread with a dead link and no other info a week from now.

This posting has expired. LOL

mhm smart

It is not too late, unless of course you sold the bike already.

2. When you put $1 in the price field, it undermines the value of searching by price. Is that intentional?

Pretty bike.

Will you do a payment plan?  Just kidding.  Kinda.  :\

Good luck selling it.

no, its in chicago il.

i put the $1 sign, cause whatever u put on price wise it will pop up on there, and then i put the normal price lower..

i just need the money, i'd do prolly 600

omorrow ill put up all the info of the bike. and alot better pix.

The problem with doing that is that if someone searches by price, and they can only spend $300 so they enter $300 in the max price box, your bike will show up in their search even though they can't afford it. You waste their time, and perhaps yours when they email you asking if you'll sell the bike for $300 (or whatever).

And yes, it is a pretty bike!

I have to agree with what other people have said about the price  listing.

As a bike builder/rebuilder I'm constantly searching for deals on bikes/frames/parts at the <$50 or even <$40 level  I'm not at all interested in a nice newer bike but instead something that needs a lot of work.  People who post such ads at $1 waste my CL searching time and clutter up my searches with hits that are not what I'm looking for.

Be aware that many people report these miscategorized ads to Craigslist administrators.

I usually put in $5 value as my minimum price which gets rid of all the silly $1 listings -but sometimes I miss legitimate stuff.

that "is that intentional?" "No, it's in chicago il" exchange was some straight up abbott and costello.
