Since reservations aren’t available yet I’m not sure we can really pin down our exact location. The campground isn’t that big and we should be fairly easy to identify since we’ll be a decent sized group with lots of bikes and no cars. If you’re worried about finding us, PM me your cell number and I’ll text you the site numbers when we get there. Maybe someone in the group will have something like a flag to identify our camp.

Is there a way I can get something firm about where we'll be?  This will be important for me because I'm coming south from Milwaukee and will have to try to locate this crew.

Perhaps the sign, top and bottom, or just the bottom part???

Kellie,

do ya wanna create an official event, now that we are less than two weeks out?

Official event's been created and  posted for a couple weeks now. :)

I'm trying to get a few other friends to join in too.

Maybe something along the lines of a Chicago flag with the stripes replaced with bike chains and the stars replaced with alternating sprockets and the tent that’s used on campground signs. I’ll try to come up with a sketch of some sort, but I make no promises about the quality. Anyone know about how much it costs to get a custom flag screen printed?

On that note, I can add the extra insurance of a second cell phone number.  Just shoot me a message!

Phew!  I saw this message this morning and I was thinking there was another subsection to the official calendar.  In which case, that's just too damn much bureaucracy for this gurl!

Ok, so I know there was talk of a keg.  I also know this is a gang who likes a challenge.  However, I happen to know of two people driving to meet us there (one will camp, the other will stop by to say hello) and I can see about getting one of them to pick up the keg and we can give them money...or they can go get the keg after we get there...or something more creative.  Anyway, I thought it might be welcome respite after a 40 something mile ride.
Excellent idea Kellie, but was any one else envisioning two bicycles with 20 bungee cords between their respective rear racks?  No? I guess it was just me.  :)
